GeoVerra is seeking a Land Use Administrator located in Edmonton, AB to join our growing Forestry and Environmental team. The successful candidate would have experience working with industry stakeholders, administering third party agreements, and file management. You will also be required to assist with other administrative duties on projects.
What you will do:
  • Request third party agreements from industry stakeholders, oversee general mailbox for communications with industry stakeholders, agreement review, file management, correspond with clients, and data entry. Complete land title searches, PLSR reports, SPIN II requests, survey plan review and data entry into proprietary systems. 
  • Review client deliverables for accuracy and support process for timely submissions.
  • Prepare, schedule, and attend various department meetings.  Records and distributes minutes and create follow-up actions as required.
  • Follow detailed administrative and procedural process that reduce redundancy, improve accuracy and efficiency, and achieve company objectives.
  • Support a positive working team atmosphere and professionalism.
  • Ensure active communication processes and work activities for projects and services.
What you will bring:
  • 1-3 years forestry/land use/energy administration experience
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite, Adobe
  • High attention to detail and ability to consistently produce professional quality deliverables
  • Excellent writing skills and a pleasant phone manner
  • Take initiative, ability to problem solve and develop solutions
  • Results oriented: equal aptitude for excellent work quality and efficient production rates
  • Self-motivated, able to manage and prioritize your own schedule
